RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

At GEP Foundation, we are committed to transparency, accountability, and the highest standards in the handling of donations. Since donations are voluntary contributions toward social welfare initiatives, we take utmost care to ensure that every rupee is used effectively. However, we understand there may be exceptional circumstances where a refund is requested.


1. DONATION REFUND POLICY

  • Donations made to GEP Foundation are generally non-refundable, as they are used for ongoing and upcoming social initiatives including education, skill development, environmental conservation, and community support.

  • A refund may be considered only under the following exceptional cases:

    • An error in the donation amount.

    • Duplicate donation due to a technical error.

    • Donation made by mistake or without the donor’s knowledge.

  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the donation date.


2. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund, please email us at csr@gepfoundation.org with the following details:

  • Full name of donor

  • Date and amount of donation

  • Mode of payment (UPI, debit/credit card, bank transfer, etc.)

  • Transaction reference number

  • Reason for the refund request

Our team will review the request and respond within 7 business days. If the request is found valid, the refund will be processed via the original payment method within 10–15 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.


3. TAX EXEMPTION CERTIFICATES (80G)

If a refund is processed, any 80G tax exemption certificate issued for the donation becomes void. The donor agrees not to use the certificate for any tax exemption claim. If already submitted to authorities, the donor is responsible for informing them of the refund.


4. EVENT REGISTRATION CANCELLATIONS

For events hosted by GEP Foundation, cancellation and refund policies (if applicable) will be clearly stated on the respective event registration page. In most cases or in absence of this detail for a particular event, fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizers.


5. PAYMENT DISPUTES

If you believe there is an unauthorized or fraudulent transaction made to GEP Foundation, please contact us immediately at csr@gepfoundation.org. We will investigate and take appropriate action promptly.
